Architect - Project Manager

Andreozzi Architecture is looking to add a future cornerstone to our family. Preferably candidates should have experience in custom residential design, an in-depth understanding of wood frame construction from rough framing through shop drawing level finish detailing, and display a proven track record of leadership. Our office provides an environment where employees are involved with all aspects of the architectural process from design development through the working drawing process and construction administration, always in direct communication with David Andreozzi and the project owners. Graduation from an NCARB accredited school is required, with an expert proficiency in Autocad, Rhino, Sketch-up, rendering, and intercommunication/presentation skills.

David Andreozzi is on board and secretary of Lutyens Trust America. He is also on the board of and recent past President of the New England Institute of Classical Architecture and Art (NE ICAA), a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the classical tradition in architecture, urbanism and their allied arts. David is currently spearheading a new movement Architectural Delight hoping to educate the public on the importance of culturally responsible design with a connectivity to people, history, and place irrespective of style. Before this David was AIA’s National Chair of CRAN, the AIA’s Custom Residential Architects Network. In addition to that role of leadership, David personally developed CRANtv, an internet based series of viral videos that educate the public on the importance of good design and the role of the Architect, which received national accolades.

Founded in 1988, Andreozzi Architecture specializes in historically based residential architecture expressive of its sense of place, attentive to its detail and proportion, and timeless in its beauty. A regional architecture: historically mastered, meticulously preserved, respectfully honored, and artistically reinterpreted. Commissions exist from Commonwealth Avenue, to the shores of New England, to the Bahamian Islands.

Andreozzi Architecture is based in Barrington RI, ten minutes from Providence, 65 minutes from Boston, and about three hours from New York.

Salary is commensurate on experience. It is a full-time position with holidays, healthcare, and a vacation policy. We provide a 401K, 3% guaranteed safe harbor contribution by employer to retirement plan, and possible profit sharing upon 13 month eligibility.
