My latest watercolor, the Rainbow Fleet in Nantucket at Brant Point Lighthouse.

The painting is inspired by this antique black & white picture of the historic Rainbow Fleet that had been colorized by hand before it was framed. Cheryl and I bought it decades ago at an antique shop. We don’t even remember where or when! On the back it is titled “Rainbow Fleet, Nantucket, MA - BL Clarke.” We have cherished it and Nantucket for our entire lives including our honeymoon there in 1986.
